AdvertisementThe Ragnarok Clown is one of the best supporting character during sieges because of its skills. Although clown couldn’t kill enemies in one single hit, it can paralyze and distraught the enemies defense. Ragnarok Bards and Clowns are the key players in offense and defense. This post is a compilation of the Ragnarok bard guide on WOE.
Ragnarok Clown Guide - Stats
The Ragnarok Clown should maximize dex and balance both int and vit. Int for casting dance skills then switch to arrow shower and vice versa. Vit for high survivability rate and immunity to harmful stats. However, be careful not to raise your vit too high because of the Biochemist’s Acid Demonstration skill.
Ragnarok Wizard Guide - Equipments
Basic WOE Equipment (Budget Package)
Headgear - Wear damage reducing headgears. Also, you could wear mask such as the Opera Mask or Alarm Mask to further increase your defense.
- PooPoo Hat - low budget
- Beret - low buget
- Feather Beret - mid budget
- Angeling Hat - high budget
Armor - The best armor would be Format Suit for its weight of 60. However it is more expensive that Coat but weighs more 120. The effective armor would be unfrozen or undead armor.
- Unfrozen/Undead Formal Suit or Coat
Shoes - Because of the clown skills, chances are you’ll ran out of SP. You also need to boost your hp more. You could choose from Eggrya, Matyr, Sohee Ancient Firelock Cards.
Shield - The best shield for woe would be the one any other job wears, the Cranial Shield
Accessory - To boost your dex or int, you could wear Nimble Gloves, Nimble Earring if your level is above 90. Or Nimble Clips it is also below 90. It is advisable to wear Hiding Clip for it might save your life
Weapon - Clowns could either equip musical instruments or bows. Carry at least one kind of these two types of weapon. Bring Quad Stun, Cursed, Silence or Blind Bow. Bear in mind that your goal here is not to kill but to paralyze. The Ragnarok Bard and Clown are more effective this way. Use quad vital violin for performing or bows compounded with Golem Card. It will make your weapon indestructible. This is useful especially if you are the one casting the Rokis Weil. If you couldn’t resist in killing, carry a 2 bloody 2 boned violin with you.
Godlike Equipments (Billionaire Package)
We’ll go on the Valkyrie set combo. Although some of cards that are compounded on these are the same and we added Orc Hero Sunglasses on the list.
Headger
- Orc Hero Sunglasses - Immunity to stun
- Valkyrie Helm with Dark Illusion Card - An ornate, winged helmet worn by the warrior maidens that serve Odin. DEF +5
- Dark Illusion Card - Max HP, Max SP -10%. Reduce spell casting time by 10%.
Armor
- Valkyrie Armor - You won’t need to carry Green Potions anymore. A set of shining white armor worn by Valkyries, the battle maidens that serve the god Odin. Increases resistance to Silence status when worn by Mage, Archer, and Acolyte Classes. Increases resistance to Stun status when worn by Swordman, Merchant, and Thief Classes. Cannot be destroyed in battle. All Stats +1.
- Unfrozen/Undead Valkyrie Armor - cannot be frozen. But it would be such a waste to put evil druid and marc card in a valkyrie armor
- Tao Gunka Card - Max HP + 100%, DEF - 50 and MDEF - 50.
- Ghostring Card - To protect you from Acid Demonstration and Extrimity Fist. Enchant an Armor with the Ghost Property. Reduces HP Recovery by 25 %.
Shield
- Cranial Valkyrja’s Shield - A shield used by Gna, messenger of Freyja, when she served as a Valkyrie. Adds 20% resistance to Water, Fire, Undead and Dark properties. MDEF +5.
Shoes - Valkyrie Shoes with Dark Lord Card
- Valkyrie Shoes - A pair of shoes worn by the Valkyries, Odin’s battle maidens. These shoes grow more powerful as the wearer improves his own abilities. Increases Max HP by (Base Level*5) when worn by Mage, Archer, and Acolyte Classes. Increases Max SP by (Job Level*2) when worn by Swordman, Merchant, and Thief Classes. Cannot be destroyed in battle.
- Dark Lord Card - If the user is equipped with an item compounded to the Dark Illusion Card, it adds Max HP, Max SP + 20%. Add the chance of auto casting level 5 Meteor Storm skill on an enemy when the user receives Physical Damage.
Weapon
- Electronic Guitar - Enables use of Lvl 1 Jupitel Thunder. INT + 2 AGI +1
- Quad Cursing Bow
- Quad Silence Bow
- Quad Stun Bow
- Quad Blinding Bow
Accessory
- Safety Ring - Def 3 Mdef + 3
Ragnarok Clown Guide - What to bring
A clown must carry restorative items such as Mastela and White Potions because of it’s weight limit. However, mastelas are more effective. Bring some green potions and royal jellies as well. You must have at least 1 bow weapon and 1 musical instrument.
Ragnarok Clown Guide - Offensive Tactic
As I’ve said Ragnarok Clowns are the key players in offense or defense. Your goal is to paralyze not to kill. In a heavily guarded or light guarded castle, once you came in, spam the froze joke skill. You could go in and out of the room while spaming froze joke. If you can’t freeze them because they might be wearing unfrozen armor you could cast arrow shower to the wiz lane to prevent them from casting.
Ragnarok Clown Guide - Defensive Tactic
If there are no other clown or bard in the guild, the best thing to do is to support the wizards with the Braggi skill. If there are no wizards in your guild, cast dissonance all over the room. If there is an extra dancer to pair with and there are lots of wizards, cast roki’s wail. If enemies kept pouring in, switch between the skills arrow shower and the dance that you are performing. Take note that Braggi’s Poem is one of the key skill to successfully defend a castle. This is especially helpful during emp hug situations. Notice that I never included the arrow vulcan skill because it is not that effective as a whole. A guild couldn’t survive an all out offensive attack without a clown.

Ragnarok Clown Guide - Soul Link
- While singing/dancing the walking speed is increased.
- A Whistle and Humming linked.

- The Apple of Idun and Service for You linked. Linked means, if X skill is mastered, then Y skill can be used too while in “Spirit” mode.
However, no matter how good your equipment and stats are, what matters most is the person behind the Ragnarok Clown or Ragnarok Bard.
