Ragnarok Clown Tarot Card of Fate Skill List
I have no idea what the right nor the opposite side means. Click the images for better view. Every card has a unique description, it could do damage to enemies or cast status ailments. The most powerful is Death, it could cast Coma status to enemies which changes their hp and sp into 1. My favorite among the images is The Lovers, the two looks so cute. The temperance card is adorable as well. If you have anything to share regarding this skill, please do so by posting in the comments section.
1. The Fool - Renders enemy’s SP to 0. Right Side.
2. The Magician: Reduces enemy’s MATK by half for 30 seconds. Opposite Side.
3. The High Priestess: Removes all buffs. Opposite Side.
4. The Chariot: Deals DEF-ignoring 1000 damage. Randomly destroys one armor equipment. Opposite Side.
5. Strength: Reduces enemy’s ATK by half for 30 seconds. Opposite Side.
6. The Lovers: Randomly teleports you to somewhere, and heals 2000 HP. Teleportation does not work in areas that do not allow so. Opposite Side.

I guess the right means that you fire tarrot in the either left and right side of your opponent. Opposite is when you face your enemy or in the back.
I believe this is true since I cannot not get Death or Devil card to show up when I face my enemy using tarrot.
This is only my guess

Hi there. First, I’d like to say great work for putting this article up, I wasn’t able to read it properly in game, and the Official Server didn’t go into detail with the individual cards. However, I’m going to go really off-topic and answer your question about the “Right Side” and “Opposite Side” tags.
The ‘Right side’ and ‘Opposite side’ after each Tarot Card description doesn’t have anything to do with the skill, or Ragnarok, it’s actually related to tarot card reading.
[Off-Topic Info]
In the deck of tarot cards, there are cards which are “positive” (Chariot, Strength, Sun, etc) and cards which are “negative” (Death, Devil, Tower, etc). However, when the cards are drawn for a tarot reading, the picture can be either facing upwards (Right Side), or upside down (Opposite Side ~ also called Reversed side).
When a card is facing upwards (Right Side), the original meaning of the card is taken. And when a card is upside down (Opposite Side), the opposite meaning is taken. In other words, if a “positive” card is drawn, its Right Side rewards the recipient, and its Opposite Side deprives the recipient; in whatever way the card suggests. Similarly, if a “negative” card is drawn, its Right Side will punish the recipient, while the Opposite Side may reward the recipient (or sometimes lighten the original punishment, either ways, it is less severe and preferable to the card facing the Right Side), again, in whatever way the card suggests.
/[Off-Topic Info]
Now relating this information back to the skill, each Tarot Card is meant to impair the opponent in some way. Therefore, all the “positive” cards will be applied to them in “Opposite Sides”; eg.
- The Chariot: Deals DEF-ignoring 1000 damage. Randomly destroys one armor equipment. Opposite Side.
And all the “negative” cards will be applied to the in “Right Sides”; eg.
- Death: Will receive Curse, Coma, and Poison all in single set. Right Side.
This ensures that irrespective of whether the tarot card itself is “positive” or “negative”, it will be turned on the side that only negative effects will be cast upon the opponent.
I hope this sheds some light for you on “Right Side” and “Opposite Side” tags. I’m sure Ragnarok meant to turn the “Opposide Side” cards upside down to illustrate this, but then it would make the players difficult to view the actual cards.
Thanks for reading.
